Welcome to TimeLapse ("the App"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. Please read it carefully before using the App.
1. Information We Collect
TimeLapse is a fully offline, on-device tool. We do not collect any personally identifiable information and do not transmit any data to external servers.
The following data is processed or stored locally on your device only:
- Camera data: Photos captured for time-lapse sequences are stored only on your device.
- Photo library data: Used to save exported videos, Live Photos, or GIFs to your library, and to import photos when you explicitly choose to do so.
- Project data: Project names, frame sequences, and settings are stored locally on your device.
2. Permissions
The App requests the following system permissions solely to provide its core features:
- Camera: To capture time-lapse photos.
- Microphone: To record audio when exporting video (if applicable).
- Photo Library (Read): To import photos from your library.
- Photo Library (Write): To save exported content to your library.
You can manage these permissions at any time in iPhone Settings → TimeLapse.
3. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third parties, including advertisers, analytics providers, or any other external services. The App contains no third-party SDKs or tracking code.
4. Data Security
All data remains on your device. Its security depends on your device's own security settings (e.g., Face ID / Touch ID, passcode). We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
